Pakistani cuisine is very similar to Indian and Bangladeshi cuisines, as Pakistan used to be part of India until the British split them in 1947 and East Pakistan later became Bangladesh. In the SF Bay, there is a large Indian population in Fremont and tandoori lamb chops, naan, and lassi are very typical.
