Xiaolongbao, spicy wonton, and leeche boba slush at Din Tai Fung 鼎泰豐, a Taiwanese Michelin-starred restaurant. Outside Taiwan, Din Tai Fung also has branches in many Asian countries, Australia, the United Arab Emirates, and the US.
Xiaolongbao (Chinese steamed bun) originated in Shanghai. It is traditionally prepared in “xiaolong” (bamboo steaming basket), hence the name.
Wonton (Chinese dumpling), from Southern China, has many variations: Cantonese fills wontons with shrimp and minced pork, and serve them with red vinegar; other Southeast Asian countries like Indonesia and the Philippines fry their wontons and serve them with sweet and sour sauce.
Boba (or pearl / bubble / tapioca) drink is, of course, from Taiwan.
